On November 1st, I’ll be reading with Kevin Honold for the 8th Annual Prose Month at SOMOS.
A Voice Crying in the Wilderness
…Not exactly a wilderness but a great expanse of desert, south of Santa Fe, that goes on for miles and miles to the sprawling town of Alamogordo.
Reading at Otero Arts Inc
I’ll be reading from and discussing my forthcoming book Taken by the Shawnee, due in the Spring of 2024.
Sallie Bingham, Steve Fox and Lucy Herrman
All 2022 November Prose Month readings are free and donations are always welcome to support SOMOS’ literary programs.
Sallie Bingham Reads from her latest books, Treason and The Silver Swan
During this unique online event, I’ll be reading from both titles published in 2020, Treason: A Sallie Bingham Reader and The Silver Swan: In Search of Doris Duke.
SOMOS 2015 Winter Writers Series
I’ll be reading from The Blue Box as part of the SOMOS 2015 Winter Writers Series with Cecil Dawkins, author of A Woman of the Century, Frances Minerva Nunnery (1898-1997).
After reading at the Alamosa Bookstore in Albuquerque, NM
I’m always a little nervous before my first reading from a new book, so far untried by readers although with two wonderful reviews, some of my best (Library Journal, Publishers’ Weekly) but without the surge of comments that gathers slowly, in the media and in the form of email from strangers and friends, over a period of months.
