It has been almost ten years since I signed my contract with Farrar, Straus & Giroux in New York—and now the book has arrived in bookstores, including Garcia Street Books here in Santa Fe and Carmichael’s Bookstore in Louisville, KY—as well as at most bookstores across this country. Please do order from a bookstore or from the publisher and not from that monster Amazon!
I’ll be recording a virtual reading and replying to some questions on Thursday. Information about this Zoom event will be posted here on Friday.
Of course the situation we are in now is affecting book sales across the country. More people are reading and we may eventually see more books being sold, but at this point, sales are down about ten percent. But The Swan has always breasted stormy seas and I know she will come through this rough time without a ruffled feather.
Tantor is offering an audiobook for those who want to listen instead of read.
I am so grateful to all my readers and potential readers and I look forward to being in touch with each and every one of you.
Gratefully, Sallie

Looking forward to learning a whole lot more about Doris Duke & humanity while reading “Silver Swan!”
